Ted Donnelly
Professionally trained, Ted worked in the early days as a camera trainee and later as an assistant cameraman. His apprenticeship took him to prestige television programmes like the BBC series 'Sensitive Skin', starring Joanna Lumley and 'River Cottage', starring Hugh
Police shows: Prime time BBC 1 'SkyCops' & SkyOne HD's 'Road Wars' provided excitement and the odd moments of danger for Ted who was fast becoming a sought-after freelance cameraman.
Work has been varied with numerous opportunities to meet many personalities that he has filmed making speeches, presenting and performing. Often travelling to company headquarters with his specialist interview lighting and green screen equipment he has been trusted to film confidential training films for leading barristers and professional businessmen.
Always keen to keep abreast of new ideas and equipment Ted has embraced the digital age with new ideas like viral Internet marketing, the use of HD cameras, and sophisticated lighting.
A typical month for Ted will include filming Dame Edna and Rolf Harris at a private birthday party, completing an Internet video for the Urology Foundation (a charity), filming for Sky News on the court steps after a murder conviction and producing a 'Speaker Training' DVD for Hugo Summerson (former MP).
